401(K) Plans

Everyone strives for a comfortable retirement. The Sony USA 401(k) Plan is the ideal way for eligible employees to achieve retirement dreams by investing money now so you can enjoy the benefits later.

CONTRIBUTION AMOUNT

If you’re an eligible employee, you can contribute up to 50% of your eligible pay as pre-tax, after-tax, and/or Roth contributions (combined), up to IRS limits. 

If you’re age 50 or older, you can make a catch-up contribution up to an additional $8,000.

For the years in which you turn ages 60-63, you can contribute up to $11,250.

COMPANY MATCH

Sony Pictures matches 100% of the first 3% of eligible pay you contribute, plus 50% of the next 3% of eligible pay. Pre-tax, after-tax, and Roth contributions are eligible for the match. Catch-up contributions aren’t.

You’re required to name your beneficiaries when you enroll. After your first enrollment, you should periodically review your beneficiary elections to make sure their information is up to date. You may change beneficiaries at any time.
